Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Ms. Hutchens, your writing teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. After graduating from Indiana State University in 2004, I have spent the past years leading classrooms in grades K-6. My vision is that through engagement with complex, culturally responsive lessons, scholars develop the necessary skills to approach any writing situation with confidence, thus optimizing their rate of success while embracing lifelong learning.
Each year brings a new adventure, full of endless possibilities and opportunities around every corner. I am excited to embark on this new adventure together.
