Ms. Gamble's Class
Dear Parents/Guardians:
Welcome to Kindergarten! I’m Tonya Gamble-Daoust. I am one of the three Kindergarten teachers here at Tindley Genesis Academy. This is my 6th year at Tindley. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher. I hope to pass the love of learning to scholars here at Genesis. Just a little about me. I’m from California but have lived here in Indiana for about 16 years. I have two children. Our family enjoys the outdoors, reading and theater.
This is an exciting time for your child, although he/she may be a little apprehensive about going to school I know they are going to love it. This is also a time of mixed emotions for parents---joy that your child is ready for school, but sadness because he/she is no longer a "baby! The first day of school will mark one of the most important milestones in your child's life. I’m so glad I get to share that with you. The skills we practice/master in kindergarten are the building blocks for your child's future success in school and in life. I know if we all work together, we can make this a wonderful year for your scholar.

These are ways I communicate information that will help to keep you informed and up to date on the praises and progress of your child.
