About Us

Operated by Tindley Accelerated Schools, Tindley Genesis Academy is an elementary school serving children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Our school is designed to spark high levels of achievement in children early in their scholastic careers, putting them on track for college acceptance at the outset of their education.

Music and Arts Infusion at TGA

As the first school of its kind in Indiana, Genesis will be infusing Tindley’s rigorous accelerated curriculum with an emphasis on music and the arts. As a part of the curriculum, children will receive performing arts training that will carry over into the classroom further enhancing instruction. Music will be used to teach scholars different concepts in addition to creating a more engaging learning environment.

Tindley Genesis is an extension of the Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School, which won the Epic Award for Innovative Practices, received a Title I Distinguished School Designation, was qualified to be named an Indiana 4-Star School, and was designated a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education—all in its first seven years of operation.

Like the Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School, Tindley Genesis places students in a rigorous and powerful learning environment. By providing research-based educational, social, and emotional programming specifically for elementary-age students, Tindley Genesis gives young boys and girls the tools they need to become goal-oriented scholars who are prepared for long-term academic success.
