Mrs. Hutson's Class

Hello TGA Family, 

My name is Laura Hutson and I will working with scholars and teachers this year with writing.  I am very excited about this new roll.   This will be my fourth year at Tindley and my 35th year teaching.  I have taught first, second, third and fourth grade.  Last year, I taught writing in 3rd grade.  My bachelor's degree was earned from Eastern Kentucky University.  I have a husband, Danny, and two grown children.  Nathan is an Operations Analysis and Kailyn is an RN in a transplant unit.  In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I look forward to working with scholars and teachers.   

Our main focus this year will be learning to write personal narrative essays, persuasive essays, informational essays, and quality constructed response answers.
