Mrs. Tapia
Hello! I am Mrs. Tapia, and I am 30 years old. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I graduated from Whitney Young Magnet High School (Michelle Obama is a fellow graduate also J) and pursued my teaching degree at DePaul University. I speak English and Spanish fluently.
I currently live in Greenfield, with my husband Carl and Goldendoodle, Chi (short for Chicago). We love to go out for walks, watch movies, travel, and spend time with family.
I am so excited to begin my fifth year at Tindley Genesis. I have taught third grade for 4 years at Tindley, and I am ready to conquer year five. At Tindley we strive to give each scholar the education they deserve. Expectations are always set high and we push scholars to be the best students they can be. As educators we work hard and are committed to every scholar's success.
